TDD is against Human Nature

TDD is Against human nature!!! There, I said it. TDD is against human nature!!. there, I just said it again.


We, as human are never and will never be grateful what did NOT happen. Take a personal example, I never have been grateful that I did not hit by a car yesterday, or that I did not receive a phone call from my dentist telling me that I've got teeth cancer.

Same logic applies to TDD, we are not never and will never be grateful that we didn't have to spend 10 hours debugging because we had good tests. However, I think we should be.

Old memories

Got nothing to do at night, was searching for a mecha anime I liked when i was little on youtube. But had no idea where to start, as I have totally forgotten what was it called. Luckily, some guy on youtube compiled a collection of all the robot anime made between 1963 ~ 1996.



animes after 1984 all looked familiar to me, but can hardly recall whats the story lol. Anyway, I still couldn't find the robot anime i was looking for..

Movie night

Watched a movie called "donnie darko" with my work mates last night. It confuses the crap out of everyone... It was really interesting, recommend it to anyone if you haven't watched it :).

my first post in 2008.

been spending most of today cleaning up my room and house. had a stack of letters piling up on my table and everywhere else, think there were more than hundreds of them. Spent 20 mins reading through all of them and was amazed I have been really disorganised in the last few months/year. I realised I haven't paid my phone bill for 4 or 5 months. And IRD was sending letters asking me for money saying its the last warning, but when I read the letter head, its 19 Sept, 2007. Sigh..too late.

I should really put myself together.

Wow this post is depressing haha

Its gonna be a long post...

been a week now since I updated about my super short trip to malaysia and singapore. been busy eating and travelling around... There was no computer at where i lived which is good for me i guess.. keeps me away from computers.

My trip to malaysia has been kinda disastrous and fun at the same time. Its disastrous because I broke my camera on the bus to malaysia from singapore and caught the wrong bus on the way back to ipoh from Kuala Lumpur sigh... well.. it was also fun. Ate HEAPS of food. All I do in the first day of malaysia is eat. eat. eat. Constantly eating everything I see as most of them are "rare items" haha (none of them adds any points to my abilities thou..just makes fat). Alex's whole family (which is huge) was really nice to me and my brothers...I doubt if i could ever pay them back for their care..because I think i have eaten more than 40 "items" in three days and didn't pay for any of them..lol .. me and my brother put on around 3kgs in 2 days.

Just as we thought our stomaches are strong ... since nothing happened to us in the first two days.. It finally came to us in the last day.. diarrhea....So everything we ate goes into the toilet in liquid form lol... so..we left all the food we ate in Malaysia...

I broke my camera on the first day to Malaysia.. the screen cracked ..it was squashed by the advanced automatic stupid but comfy chair on the bus that we took to go to malaysia. However, the camera was still working .. just that the screen is black. i couldn't really see what i was taking.. So pretty much all the pictures I have taken in malaysia are by human estimation.. they came out surprisingly ok. which is in the following:


heaps of random dishes, .. fruit mix with special sweet and salty dips, raw spring rolls with i don't know whats in there, drink with lime and a sour thing and each of us had a bowl of "i forgot what is in there" noodle. lol






A fruit called "rober tan"? It tastes exactly like ly chi.. but bigger and juicer








$1.50 RM chicken on rice! No pork No lard because indian (i think..) doesn't eat pork









Some indian food, has a name but forgot what its called. It tastes really nice, but really disgusting if you see how they made it... some tofu flower soup too.. the picture is deceiving.. the alex's bowl on the right is at least three times bigger than my bowl on the right...lol (mine was poured from his bowl...)

Fried fish noodle in milk soup!! taste really good! with sea coconut shaved ice to cool me down :)
